Driving through on a road trip. Pulled up to the parking lot. Friendly lady came up and took our order from the car. Cheeseburgers were fire. Legit spot, glad we stopped here. Thanks to the owner of this small joint for quality food and service.

I come from the land of In-n-out. My husband is obsessed with it. He said this place was better! Legit better burgers. Maria's burger with the grilled onions and jalapeños is outrageously yummy. Just enough heat to compliment the tasty cheeseburger with all it's toppings. My son loved his double cheeseburger with grilled onions. Cooked fresh and hot in a reasonable time. Maria was hustling from car to car taking/delivering orders; with a smile on her face. Well deserved busy Friday night. She wasn't the only one with a smile on her face. We loved it!

If you're a burger fan, this little truck is not to be underestimated. If you like spicy (I do) I highly recommend the Maria Burger. Hot, fresh, and delicious! We definitely need to stop here again when Stormchasing through Liberal so I can try more things on the menu! PS: Cash only, employees wear masks during COVID, burger delivery to your car once order is placed.

Still an excellent burger 5 yrs later. Made a special stop here on the drive from Arizona to Illinois. Same friendly owners same great food.

Great home aid burgers!!! Very tasty, I could have eaten 2 for sure!!!! And next time I'm going to try the burger that has grilled onions and peppers !!!! And the cheese fries r the best!!!!!

This is a little hidden gem in Liberal. Hidden being pretty literal. I drive past this place every day on my way to work and never noticed it until I went into the parking lot of the Tractor Supply store. The service was good- they come to your car so you don't have to stand out in the cold. They're prices are comparable to what you'd pay at a restaurant. But the best burger I've had in Liberal. I got a burger combo and their fries are good too. You should definitely check this place out!!

I read all the previous reviews so I had to have the Maria special they were right it's excellent! A burger with grilled onions jalapeños and bacon along with the usual cheese lettuce and tomato. The fries were a great surprise they had some sort of spice and they were super crisp. And the curbside service was delightful. Would definitely return!

Do you have the misfortune of being in Liberal Kansas? Do you want to eat the best damn hamburger of your life? Are you willing to eat at places that look scary as hell? If you answered "yes" to these questions, then stop by The Hamburger Place. Sure, it looks like something out of a horror movie, but you will forget about that the minute a Maria's Special Cheeseburger crosses your lips. One star off for the cheese fries, which were undercooked, but don't let that deter you. This place can hold it's own against any lunch joint in town!

This is the best food we've ever had coming out of a food trailer! Surprisingly delicious and the best service and so affordable. Yum!
